A couple of weeks before the start of my senior year, I, along with nine other people from LHS traveled to Ono, Hyogo, Japan, which is Lindsay's sister city. During the ten days that we were there, we were able to experience Japanese culture with our host families and the numerous activities that were done, such as participating in a traditional tea ceremony, wearing a royal kimono, and learning about the history of Japan and our sister cities.

Since the beginning of my freshman year, I have been involved with Future Business Leaders of America, better known as FBLA. This is a national business club, with competitions on business-themed topics. I have placed at the annual Central Section Leadership Conference every year since sophomore year. I also attended every State Conference since sophomore year. I hope to be able to continue this as an FBLA officer my senior year.

In my freshman year, I joined tennis to get the feel for a sport. Although I wasn't the best, I enjoyed the company of my team and the feeling of sportsmanship. After the season, I got my JV letter and some high school memories.
